La Playa Park is more than a food truck park—it’s a curated food and event destination designed to create a seamless, enjoyable experience for guests and vendors. We’re looking for unique, high-quality food trucks that bring something special to the table and align with our elevated, community-focused vibe.
Our Food Program Philosophy
We operate with two permanent, on-site food trucks serving a consistent core menu daily. To keep things exciting and fair, rotating food trucks are carefully curated and approved based on menu uniqueness and quality.

Duplicate menu items are not permitted on the premises

All menu items must be submitted and approved in advance

We’re seeking trucks that offer creative, delicious food made with quality ingredients
In some cases, selected vendors may be asked to participate in a menu tasting as part of the approval process.
How Service Works at La Playa Park
Things work a little differently here—and that’s by design.
A Seamless Guest Experience

All guests begin their visit by opening a tab at our host stand. From there, they’re free to:

Visit the bar

Order from one or multiple food trucks

Place multiple orders throughout their stay
Guests close out their tab once, at the end, creating an easy, stress-free experience that encourages more orders across the property—great for everyone involved.
What We Provide for Food Trucks​​
To keep operations smooth and consistent, La Playa Park supplies:

A mobile POS system with your approved menu pre-loaded

Order buzzers to notify guests when food is ready

Centralized payment processing—no cash or card handling required by vendors

Food trucks are not permitted to exchange money directly with customers on the premises.

Your role is simple:
👉Take orders, cook great food, and serve your guests.
We handle the rest.
Payment, Rent & Reporting
Instead of a flat daily fee, food truck rent is based on a percentage of sales, allowing vendors to benefit from strong sales days.

Rent ranges from 8–10% of gross sales, depending on the day and season

Sales are tracked and reported through our centralized POS system

La Playa Park handles sales and use tax reporting on your behalf

At the end of each shift:

You’ll receive a daily cash-out

You’ll get a detailed sales breakdown report for your records
​
Food truck vendors operate as independent contractors and will receive a 1099 at year-end.
